The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) was established to address the challenges faced by the oil-producing communities of Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ondo State. These communities contribute significantly to Nigeria’s oil and gas sector but often suffer from environmental degradation, lack of infrastructure, and limited access to quality education and healthcare.

Eligibility:
All interested applicants must:
(i) be an indigene of either Ilaje and/or Ese-Odo Local Government Areas;
(ii) be full-time students of recognized public/private institutions within the country as at 2023/2024 academic session;
(iii) both undergraduates and postgraduates as well as Law School Students are eligible to apply in so much as their studentship is acknowledged by their school/university authorities; and
(iv) all part-time/samdwich/pre-degree/NTI/diploma students and institutions not accredited by relevant authorities are not qualified for this award.
Requirement:
All applicants for the 2023/2024 Edition of OSOPADEC Scholarship/Bursary Scheme must possess and upload the following documents in the relevant fields:
- One recent passport photograph
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin
- JAMB Admission Letter
- School fees receipts for 2023/2024 Academic Session
- Current valid Student Identity Card (I.D)
Important Notice:
(i) change of bank will not be entertained after submission of application;
(ii) applicants registration slip must be printed out, signed and stamped by the Dean of Student Affairs/HOD of institutions (as applicable); and,
(iii) signed slip MUST be uploaded to complete the registration.
