The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is once again rolling out its Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship Programme to equip our young people with relevant skills, knowledge and expertise, particularly in the local content programme of the Federal Government, as well as enable them to compete globally, contribute to the economy and thus compete globally in various professional disciplines.

The scheme is for suitably qualified candidates, with relevant Bachelor’s Degrees from recognized universities in the following professional disciplines: Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Information Technology, Law, Maritime Science, Medical Sciences

There are five forms that need to be completed and submitted to the NDDC for consideration.

4. Guarantor’s Information
5. Application and Confirmation

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must

• 1. Must hail from the Niger Delta Region and
• 2. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and
• 3. Must have a First Class or Second Class Upper or Second Lower Upper Division and
• 4. Must not be more than 40 years old.

Required Documents

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must upload the following documents:

• 1. Recent passport photograph
• 2. Local Government Identification Letter
• 3. Bachelor’s degree certificate
• 4. NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate
• 5. Guarantor’s letter and
• 6. Post Graduate admission letter from a recognized overseas university
