The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy has officially opened applications for organisations to join the 3MTT Partner Network. This initiative is part of the broader 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme, designed to expand Nigeria’s digital workforce and bridge the growing skills gap in the tech ecosystem.

The 3MTT Partner Network is structured as a six-tier collaboration platform that connects organisations with one of the largest digital talent pipelines in Africa. With over 1.87 million fellows, innovators, employers, and institutions already engaged, the programme continues to gain momentum as a key driver of digital transformation in Nigeria.

This initiative comes at a critical time when Nigeria is positioning itself toward achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2030. With over 70% of the population under 30 and approximately 3.5 million youths entering the labour market annually, the demand for digital skills and employment opportunities has never been higher.

Since its launch, the 3MTT programme has successfully trained more than 160,000 fellows across three cohorts, spanning all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The programme is supported by over 10,000 delivery partners nationwide, demonstrating a strong commitment to capacity building and inclusive growth.

Organisations joining the Partner Network can participate in six key areas: training delivery, job creation, skills intelligence, innovation support, funding, and media amplification. Leading organisations such as Airtel Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, IHS Towers, and Google are already contributing resources, infrastructure, and expertise to drive the programme’s success.
