Dakkada Skill Acquisition Centre (DASAC) is the biggest vocational training facility in Nigeria. It sits on 12.8 hectares of land with fully equipped workshops, integrated farm, renown facilitators, and capacity to accommodate five thousand students.

The institution was established as The Government Technical College, Ikot Ada Idem in 1976 by the Cross River State Government in collaboration with the World Bank as part of the post-Nigerian Civil War Reconstruction Initiative to provide technical and vocational training aimed at developing human capital capacity in skills, vocational and technical education.

Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre (DASAC) was reopened by His Excellency Umo Eno and commenced full academic programmes in June 2024.
