The NHEF Scholars Program accelerates early-career development by offering selected candidates diverse opportunities, including a weeklong orientation program. This orientation focuses on career development training to ease the transition into the global workforce.

• Bayero University, Kano
• University of Ibadan
• University of Lagos
• University of Nigeria, Nsukka

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the program, applicants must:

1. Demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to community service, philanthropy, and a desire to make a global impact.
2. Be penultimate students at one of the NHEF partner universities (300-level students in a 4-year course or 400-level students in a 5-year course).

Follow these steps to apply for the 2025 NHEF Scholars Program:

2. Create an account by providing your name, email address, phone number, and password.
3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
4. Log in to the portal using your credentials.
5. Click the APPLY tab on your dashboard to begin the application.
6. Fill out the bio-data section and complete the program essay questions.
7. Upload the required documents, including:
   • One-page Curriculum Vitae (CV)
   • One-page Cover Letter
   • Most recent Statement of Result (all in PDF format)
8. Review your responses and submit the application.

Note: Prepare your answers to the application questions in a separate document beforehand. Since the application cannot be saved mid-process, having responses ready will allow for smooth completion and submission.
