Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MBASE) is recruiting qualified Secondary School Teachers across the state. This is strictly for secondary school teaching positions. Applicants must possess B.Ed in a relevant field or its equivalent – M.Ed in relevant field is an added advantage.

Katsina State Approves Recruitment of 2,158 Teachers for Public Schools

The Katsina State Government has officially approved the recruitment of 2,158 qualified teachers to strengthen the education sector across the state. This initiative, led by Governor Dikko Umar Radda, aims to enhance learning outcomes and improve the teacher-to-student ratio in public schools.

Breakdown of Teaching Positions

According to the announcement, the recruitment will cover both primary and secondary education levels:

  • 1,500 teachers for primary schools
  • 658 teachers for secondary schools
