Project Manager

Location: Washington, District of Columbia

TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks a Project Manager for our legal office in Washington, D.C.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the processing of legal documents, including hard copy litigation documents.
  • Oversee and manage a document and quality control team.
  • Assist in maintaining files and processing all documents in accordance with established business processes, utilizing case management systems customized for such purposes.
  • Perform administrative safeguarding to prevent disclosure of data.
  • Assist with the drafting, maintenance and training on staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist team with converting hard copy physical documents into electronic documents by opening, scanning and converting into PDFs.
  • Provide packaging support services, fax services, and Electronic Document Processing Support Services (Distribution/Scanning/Indexing/Archiving).
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 6+ years of experience managing a legal document file room.
  • Significant experience in managing court pleadings in bankruptcy or complicated multi-party litigation.
  • Technical skills and expertise necessary and sufficient to meet the demands of records management and document controls in a highly computerized environment.
  • Ability to provide the services required to support an effectively paperless environment.
  • Knowledge of general legal processes and documentation sufficient to recognize time-sensitive matters and understand their context in legal proceedings to associate documents with particular matters and masters.
  • Expertise in handling sensitive information, confidential documents and privileged communications so that such information is handled and processed in accordance with all applicable agency and federal statutes, rules and regulations.
  • Managerial and supervisory skills and capabilities necessary to instruct and supervise a staff required to handle and process legal or other documents appropriately and engage in related support activities.
  • Ability to meet tight time restraints and deadlines.
  • Experience managing a team independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • 8+ years in a Project Manager role for a legal firm.

TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks an experienced Program Manager for a client in our Lebanon, VA office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Hotline Specialists, including time off requests, attendance tracking, performance reviews, etc.
  • Ensure that Quality and Timeliness measures are being met by the team as a whole (95% of written reports for complaints should be clear, concise, understandable, accurate, and free of grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. 90% of calls, emails, and other Hotline contacts are to be processed and submitted to correct avenues within 24 hours of receipt, etc.)
  • Project Manager shall provide periodic summary reports to required personnel and shall maintain regular contact (g., monthly meetings) with company representatives as appropriate to resolve any challenges that arise during the normal course of business.
  • Ensure all Performance Standards are being met consistently.
  • Ensurethat all the team is handling calls professionally; callers and others contacting the Hotline are always treated courteously and professionally.

Experience Required:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Must possess at least two years of experience in managing Hotline complaint intake services for allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.
  • Must already possess a current background clearance from a federal government agency with reciprocity capabilities or a current federal government issued PIV card.
