About Wema Bank Bankers-In-Training (Sales) Programme
The programme combines structured classroom training, hands-on experience, mentorship, and career development. Participants will develop commercial skills in customer acquisition, financial products, sales, and relationship management while gaining an understanding of Commercial, Corporate, Retail, and SME Banking.
Training follows a regional structure, with sessions organized across selected locations in Nigeria, including the North, South-South & East, and Southwest, excluding Lagos.
Wema Bank Bankers-In-Training Requirements
Wema Bank is looking for passionate, customer-focused, and self-motivated individuals who are ready to thrive in a target-driven environment.
To be considered, applicants must have:
- A minimum of Second Class Upper or equivalent in any business- or social science-related discipline from an accredited university.
- At least five credits in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
- Completed NYSC and possess a valid discharge certificate.
- Be not older than 26 years at the time of application.
- A strong interest in sales, client management, and financial solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively under targets and deadlines.
Previous experience of zero to two years in sales or relationship management is an added advantage.
