Primary Health Care Development Agency in Collaboration with Benue State Primary Health Care Board to recruiting JCHEW across the 276 wards in the State. Individuals should be resident in the ward/community, should be able to read and write in English or the local language.

Two key positions:

• Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW): These individuals will work as ad-hoc health workers and provide technical support.
• Community Based Health Workers (CBHW): These are volunteers who will provide basic health services, including mobilization and sensitization on health issues.

Eligibility:

• Must have obtained a Certificate of the Junior Community Health Extension Worker and a valid practicing license.
• Must be a resident of the local government where they are applying.
• Must be willing to work in rural areas
• Must be between the ages of 25 and 60 years.

Qualifications For Community Based Health Workers (CBHW):

• Minimum of secondary education.
• Ability to read and write in English and the local language
• Must be respected and a resident within the community.
• Culturally competent and willing to serve the community for at least four years.
• Age range of 25-60 years.
