₦1 Billion Grants for Nigerian Businesses

As part of the 2026 edition, the Federal Government will distribute a total of ₦1 billion in grants to 100 shortlisted Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in June 2026.

This large-scale funding initiative aims to empower innovative businesses, create jobs, and strengthen Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Selected winners will receive financial support alongside national exposure that can significantly boost their brand visibility.

Background of the National MSME Awards

The National MSME Awards was first introduced in August 2018 to celebrate outstanding small businesses in Nigeria. Since its inception, the programme has grown steadily, with seven successful award editions held so far and over 60 verified winners recognized.
