Applications are now open for the NDE Skill Up Abia Women Programme 2026, a fully funded empowerment initiative by the Abia State Government in collaboration with the Safe Tent Care Initiative (STCI) and the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Abia State.

This programme is designed to provide free skill acquisition training for women in Abia State, helping participants gain practical, income-generating skills that can lead to financial independence.

What is the Skill Up Abia Women Programme?

The Skill Up Abia Women Programme is a 3-month intensive vocational training targeted at women across all 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Abia State.

The initiative focuses on equipping participants with hands-on skills and real-life business knowledge that can be used immediately to start earning.
