NFVF International Bursaries 2026 for Postgraduate Diploma Studies

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is inviting eligible South African filmmakers and television professionals to apply for its International Bursaries for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) studies. The programme is designed to support full-time postgraduate studies in Film and Television at accredited institutions outside South Africa, particularly in areas of study that are not currently available locally.

Who Is Eligible?
The NFVF International Bursary is intended for applicants who meet the required criteria. To be considered, you must:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Have a strong academic record.
- Be able to provide proof of financial need.
- Have been accepted or enrolled at an accredited international institution.
- Be pursuing a relevant full-time postgraduate Film or Television programme that is not available in South Africa.
