Uganda Revenue Authority Internship Programme 2026 for Young Ugandans
Applications are now officially open for the 2026 Uganda Revenue Authority Internship Programme for young Ugandan students seeking practical workplace experience and professional development opportunities.

The internship programme gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in different professional fields while working with one of Uganda’s leading government institutions. Interns will also have the chance to interact with experienced professionals, develop industry-relevant skills, and improve their understanding of tax administration and public service operations.
The internship placements will run during the July–August 2026 internship cycle, with a total of 286 internship slots available across different departments and operational stations. Out of these opportunities, 84 positions are reserved for upcountry stations.
The programme is designed to help students strengthen their employability, expand their professional networks, and prepare for Uganda’s increasingly competitive job market.

- Procurement and Supply Chain Management
- Taxation
- Law
- Information Technology
- Records and Archives Management
- Human Resource Management and Administration
- Logistics and Fleet Management
- Library and Information Science
- Project Planning and Management
- Communications and Public Relations
Requirements for the URA Internship Programme 2026
To qualify for the internship opportunity, applicants must:
- Be pursuing academic disciplines relevant to URA’s operational and administrative functions
- Indicate their preferred district during the application process if interested in upcountry placements
- Submit applications online, as physical applications will not be accepted by URA
