About The Grant

The ARISE Home Garden Scheme isn’t just a grant program  it’s a push toward self-reliance, food security and community resilience. By turning homes into productive gardens or small farms, beneficiaries can reduce dependency on external food supply, cut household food expenses, and potentially generate supplemental income.

For many, especially youths and households with limited income, this scheme offers a path to financial empowerment, healthier diets, and a sense of contribution to greater community food stability.

In 2025, the scheme was relaunched as ARISE Home Garden Scheme 2.0, offering up to N2,000,000 grant support to successful applicants a substantial boost for home gardens or small agribusinesses. The funding can be used for seeds, seedlings, tools, startup costs, or general garden/farm setup and maintenance
