The courses marked with an asterisk (*) are only open to registration at the University of Paris-Saclay. The others are open to both the University of Paris-Saclay and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, with the exception of the M1 Jacques Hadamard course (Ecole Polytechnique) which is only open to registration at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

  • Applicants must intend to enrol in a Master’s program in “Mathematics and Applications” at the University of Paris-Saclay or the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
  • The eligible Master’s programs include M1 and M2 courses specified in the program list.
  • The first call targets students from outside the Paris-Saclay perimeter.
  • The second call is exclusively for students already within the Paris-Saclay perimeter.
  • International students (from outside Europe) must meet visa application requirements, including obtaining a Campus France file number.

Requirement:

  • Personal information of the applicant;
  • The name of the Master’s program for which the student is applying;
  • Transcripts from each institution previously attended during the Bachelor’s degree and the first year of the Master’s degree (or equivalent);
  • Academic CV;
  • Name and email address of two referees;
  • A study plan: this document explains who you are and what you expect from your higher education. Your interest in the field and your career goals will be detailed. You can use this document to clarify any unusual elements in your CV or transcripts (maximum two pages).

NOTE:

Applicants are selected on the basis of academic criteria, evidenced by transcripts and letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation are automatically requested from the referees indicated by applicants as soon as their application has been validated.
