The Renaissance African Energy Company Limited (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (JV), is inviting applications from qualified Nigerian undergraduate students for the 2026 NNPC–RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship.
This scholarship is designed to promote academic excellence and support the development of young Nigerians by providing annual financial assistance throughout their undergraduate studies. It is one of the key educational support initiatives in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

Scholarship Categories
The scholarship is divided into two main categories:
1. National Merit Award (NM):
Open to all Nigerian students regardless of state of origin.
2. Areas of Operation Merit Award:
Open to indigenes of Renaissance operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Be full-time undergraduate students in a recognized Nigerian university
- Not be beneficiaries of any other oil and gas industry scholarship (local or international)
- Be in 200 Level with proof of admission for the 2024/2025 academic session
Applicants must also ensure that all submitted information is accurate and consistent with official documents.

Important Notice
- The application is completely FREE of charge
- Renaissance and its partners do not use agents or representatives for applications
- Only applications submitted through the official portal will be accepted
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a computer-based test
- Only successful applicants at each stage will be contacted
Required Documents
Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of the following:
- Recent passport photograph (white background, 450px by 450px)
- School ID card
- Admission letter (JAMB or University)
- JAMB result
- 100 Level result or 2024/2025 transcript
- State of origin identification letter
Each file must not exceed 200KB and must be in JPEG format.
Applicants for the operational area award must also submit signed identification letters from:
- The Paramount Ruler of the community
- The CDC or CEC Chairman
