Vacant Positions

Legal Officer: CONTISS-II-8-LEG

• Legal Officer position to provide legal advice and support to the university.
• Applicants must possess a degree in Law (LL.B), with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University and call to the Nigerian Bar. Computer literacy is required.

Senior Secretariat Assistant: CONTISS-II-6-SSA

• Senior Secretariat Assistant position to provide secretarial and administrative support
• Applicants must have Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language with 50/100WPM in Typewriting/Shorthand. Candidates with NCE or National Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Administration are eligible for appointment. Computer literacy is required.

Architect II: CONTISS-II-7-ARC

• Architect II position to design and oversee university building projects
• The basic entry requirement for this cadre is a B.Sc. Degree in Architecture or B. Arch with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University. Computer literacy is required.

Network Engineer II: CONTISS-II-8-NET

• Network Engineer II position to manage and maintain university network infrastructure.
• Applicants must possess a degree with minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Higher National Diploma (HND) with minimum of Lower Credit in Computer/Electronics Engineering or related field in Engineering from a recognized institution with professional registration. Computer literacy is required.

Clerical Officer: CONTISS-II-3-CLK

• Clerical Officer position to provide basic administrative and clerical support
• Applicants must possess Secondary School Education (SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE) with three (3) passes at credit level, one of which must be in English Language or literature in English, and any other two (2) Subjects. Computer literacy is required.

Confidential Secretary II: CONTISS-II-7-CS

• Confidential Secretary II position to provide high-level secretarial support.
• Applicants must possess 60/120 WPM in Typewriting/Shorthand or B.Sc./HND in Secretarial Studies/Administration. NCE/National Diploma holders require four (4) years cognate post qualification work experience. Computer literacy is required.

Civil Engineer II: CONTISS-II-8-CIV

• Civil Engineer II position to oversee infrastructure development and maintenance.
• Applicants must possess a B.Sc., B. Eng. or B. Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University and registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Computer literacy is required.

Programs/System Analyst: CONTISS-II-7-PSA

• Programs/System Analyst position to develop and maintain university systems and programs.
• Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with minimum of Second-Class Lower Division or Higher National Diploma (HND) with minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution. Computer literacy is required

Higher Technical Officer: CONTISS-II-7-HTO

• Higher Technical Officer position to provide technical support across various departments.
• Applicants must possess ND/HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, Land Surveying and Estate Surveying. Computer literacy is required.

Higher Executive Officer: CONTISS-II-7-HEO

• Higher Executive Officer position to handle administrative functions across various departments.
• Applicants must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Arts and Humanities, Management and Social Sciences with a minimum of Lower Credit from recognized institution or a Third Class Degree in Humanities, Management and Social Sciences. Computer literacy is required.

Nursing Officer II: CONTISS-II-7-NUR

• Nursing Officer II position to provide healthcare services within the university.
• Applicants must possess RN and RM, RN and Post Basic qualification. Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Computer literacy is required.

Professor: CONUASS-7

• Professor position available across all faculties including College of Health Sciences, Faculty of Nursing and Allied Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Communication and Medical Studies, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Geography and Atmospheric Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
• Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or its equivalent with a minimum number of publications not less than fifteen (15) and nine (9) years in teaching experience at university level. Applicants must have a Google scholar h-index of 3. Appointment is subject to external assessment of candidate’s publications and general contributions to knowledge and national development. Must show evidence of academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grant from both local and international funding agencies. Must be a registered member of their professional bodies.
